As you know subscriptions are usually due on the 1st January each year, in 2007 this will be different. This year the fees will be due on 1st April the reason for this is the new affiliation fees set up by England Athletics. When they became recognised as the National Association on 1st April 2006 they waived the affiliation fee for each athlete in the first year. From the 1st April 2007 a fee of £3 for each athlete will be charged rising to £5 per athlete in 2008.
Chiltern Harriers subscriptions rates (which have been unchanged for five years) will increase to cover this affiliation fee and increased club expenses. The new rates will be:

| Associates | £6 |
These will apply from 1st January 2007 for new members joining. Existing members will be sent a renewal form in March; this increase will need to be ratified at the AGM on the 25th March 2007.
