Several of Chiltern Harriers primary school age runners were taking
part for their schools in the third of the four-match winter series.
In the Year 6 boys race Chartridge’s Ethan Kidd ran well
for second and there were also good efforts on a very long, tough
course by The Gateway’s Redford Denson (third), Little Kingshill’s
Ollie Powell (fourth), and Chalfont St Peter’s Oliver Jackson (sixth).
Lily Pearson won the Year 6 girls race for Heatherton
House with The Gateway’s Ella Tovey third. Chesham Prep’s Amber
Hitchcock and Olivia Houlihan-Burne were fifth and eleventh
respectively.
Cameron Reid from Chartridge ran well to win the Year 5
boys race. Tom Hall from Elangeni was seventh, Great Missenden’s
Phoenix Everiss was eighth and Elangeni’s Edward Watson eleventh.
Chalfont’s Alex Boyd was also in the top 20.
In the Year 5 girls race Hannah West was second for Little
Kingshill and schoolmates Emily Westwood and Izzy Puncher were fourth
and seventh, separated by Chalfont St Peter’s Ellen Hodson in sixth.
Elangeni’s Ellie Perkin was eleventh.
Tom Hunter of Chalfont St Peter again won the Year 4 boys race in style.
