New Secretary

Brenda is standing down as Secretary of the club at the next AGM, and so the club is looking for someone to take over the role.

Brenda would be happy to chat informally with anyone who wishes to know more about the role. Trevor Davis is also available to discuss anything with anyone who is interested in taking this on.

The main jobs of the secretary are (not in any particular order)

• Act as a focal point for correspondence and pass on as appropriate
• Attend committee meeting 8/9 a year usually in Chesham
  
• Book venues for AGM and committee meetings.
• Send out notices for AGM
  
• Attend others meetings that affect the club usually 1 or 2 a year
  
• Apply for club places for the London marathon
