Under 20 Allan Stewart has had success this summer on a variety of running surfaces and in a great range of distances.On the track Allan won the Bucks County 200m title in 24.58 and also achieved podium positions in 400m and 800m. His Season’s bests for those events are 52.41 and 2.01.53. He also recently won the South of England 5000m title in a PB of 16.12.79 at Ashford.
Over the country Allan was first Junior in 23.46 at the 6K ‘fell race’ at Coombe Hill at the beginning of June to follow first Junior in 30.07 at the Pednor 5 mile road race in early May.
Allan has also joined the band of Harriers taking part in the Black Park parkrun with a highlight a spectacular battle with clubmate James Repper at the event’s 100th edition, Allan just edging James, in 17.02 to 17.05. Also over 5K Allan won one of the Langley Park series with 17.38.
