A huge turnout of Under 11 and Under 13 Chiltern Harriers athletes took part in a very sunny Watford Sunday morning minors meeting.

Amongst many notable performances the middle distance runners stood out. In the 800m Will Perkin ran a new PB of 2.24.1 with debutants at the event Tom Conway (2.34.9) and Fred Sanders (2.35.6) both having good runs. Also featuring were Rohan Montgomery with 2.42.4 and Theo Kontos 2.45.9.

In the U13 girls 800m race, Hannah Thear also set a big new PB with 2.33.8. There were season's bests for Claire Buttivant (2.46.9) and Lizzie Barraclough (2.49.3).

The Under 11s ran 600m and Callum Hodson had a superb run to record 1.53.1. Also well up were Cameron Reid (2.01.3), Harry Brandon (2.02.2) and Ethan Kidd (2.02.4). For the girls Olivia Houlihan-Burne ran 2.18.6 and Ellen Hodson 2.19.3.

In the sprints Tom Conway had a good debut with 14.5 and Hannah Thear was again in form with 14.8.

Also taking part and competing in a small range of events that also featured hurdles, long jump and cricket ball throw were Richard Slade, Charlie Spittal, Olly George, Felix Vine, Abi Jones, Katie McCartney, Kathryn Thornton, James Chadda, Oliver Brook, Iman Muneer, Sarah Massey, Rose Dakin, Mimi Houlihan-Burne, Isobelle Kidd, Becca Jones, Alex Thear, Billy Houlihan-Burne, Merryn Sutaria, Charlotte Housden, and Harry Sutaria
