Angus Denison-Smith had yet another cross country victory in the National Prep Schools Championships at Malvern College, and headed the victorious Beacon School team.
On the 2600m course Angus recorded a time of 10.00, seven seconds ahead of the second placed athlete. The Beacon team was made up of three other Chiltern Harriers, Calum Steer in 11th, Freddie Bowcock in 19th and Ben Smith in 39th.
In the girls race there were four Chiltern athletes taking part. Sophie Morton ran well to be 12th for Beechwood Park School. Mimi Houlihan-Burne was disappointed with 31st but led home the Chesham Prep team which also included Olivia Houlihan-Burne in 88th and Amber Hitchcock in 130th.
