The third of four primary schools matches took place at Hawridge Cricket Club on Saturday.

Several young Chiltern Harriers were in action taking part for their schools.

In the Year 6 race Elangeni's Peter Hughes won for the first time. Theo Kontos from Chartridge had been leading but had to retire after losing a shoe in the muddy course. Charlie Stevens, also from Elangeni, was sixth.

The Year 6 girls race was dominated by Chiltern athletes with Elangeni's Lizzie Barraclough being the convincing winner. Chesham Prep's Mimi Houlihan-Burne was second, Elangeni's Rhiannon Ward was third and close behind were Maddy Lacey from Elangeni, Katie McCarthy and Kathryn Thornton, both from Heatherton House.

The Year 5 boys was a Chiltern, and Chalfont St Peter, 1-2 with Tommy Taylor just edging out Callum Hodson. Oliver Jackson, also with a top ten finish, ran very well to complete the winning CSP team. Ollie Powell of Little Kingshill was sixth.

Heatherton's Lily Pearson continued her excellent form to be a runaway winner of the Year 5 girls race. Olivia Houlihan-Burne and Amber Hitchcock, both from Chesham Prep, were part of that school's winning team.

In the Year 4 boys race Chartridge's Cameron Reid was a commendable fourth and in the girls event Amelia Weir of Godstowe was fifth and Elangeni's Ellie Perkin was sixth.
