Chiltern Harriers had individual success for the men and team success for the women at the Wycombe Half/10K recently.
In the Half Marathon first across the line was Chiltern's Eddie O'Gorman in a very good time of 1.13.16 on the course which takes in the big climb up Marlow Hill in the first mile and a half. In third place was Fabian Downs in 1.16.50. These two featuered in first and second in the Bucks Half Marathon County Championships that was being held as part of the event.
For the women Debbie Wenman was the first Chiltern lady home in 1.34.09 and won the Bucks County Championships. Kate Loach in 1.38.21, Grace Birch in 1.41.39, and Sandra Reynolds in 1.50.22 won the women's team prize.
In the 10K race Kingsley Nanton ran well to be seventh in 37.24. Ali Young was first woman in 14th overall in 41.46 and was joined by Ali Milton (44.40), Shareen Hallas (50.38) and Bernadette Down (59.04) as the winning women's team in the 10K.
