There was a strong complement of Chiltern Harriers athletes in the Herts Schools Championships at Verulam Park, St Albans.
A highlight was the Junior boys race where the quartet of Michael Goddard (sixth), Ben Whitney (15th), Jimmy Davies (21st) and Callum Neal (24th) won the team race for St Clement Danes.
In the Junior girls race, Ellie Jones (Tring) was 17th, Chloe Allen (Berkhamsted) 21st, Hannah Wardley (St Clement Danes) 34th and Amy Buttivant (Royal Masonic) 62nd and in the Intermediate girls Eleanor Dolan (St Clement Danes) ran well to be 12th.
