Myself and a few other Chiltern Harriers took part in the Marlow Santa Fun Run 5km yesterday. Chiltern Harriers took both the First Father Christmas and First Mother Christmas! We were honoured as Sir Steve Redgrave gave out the presentations.
It was lots of fun and the downpours stopped bringing in glorious sunshine in time for the race.
1st Father Christmas was Alex Shelley - 17mins 24sec
1st Mother Christmas was Ali Young - 19mins 38sec
Ade McCormack and Jon Beedle ran good times also, considering they had competed in the Chiltern League the day before. Jon had a few wardrobe malfunctions as he lost his santa trousers along the way!!
