Eddie O'Gorman wins the Andy Reading 10k

Several Chiltern Harriers made the trip up to Wootton to take part in the Half marathon organised by Bedford Harriers.

There were several good performances but pick of the bunch was probably Debbie Wenman's win in the ladies Vet 40 race in a time of 1.28.38.

In the high calibre men's race, Kingsley Nanton was first harrier home in 1.15.00 in 18th place. Richard Quantrill continued his good form with 1.22.33 and 51st place and John Taylor logged a big new PB of 1.24.57 in 77th. Also running well were Michael Turney, 97th in 1.26.10 and Roger Ellerby, coming back towards top form, 165th in 1.30.44.

On the ladies side Debbie Wenman was first Harrier in 129th place overall, closely followed by Sarah Quantrill in 146th in 1.29.48. Sandra Reynolds was 327th in 1.37.58 and Kate Loach 358th in 1.39.12.
