December's pub run/walk will be from "The Chequers" pub at Fingest. A challenging route with arguably the best views in the Chilterns, and with the terrain in mind the distances are slightly shorter than usual, viz: 10 and 8 miles!
The village is signposted at the B482 Marlow - Stokenchurch road at Bolter End cross roads (by the "Peacock Inn"). Its post code is: RG9 6QD, map reference SU7791. Telephone : 01491 638335. Distance from Amersham approx 20 miles.
