Chiltern Harriers had several competitors involved in the Moor Park 10K and Junior Fun Runs at Merchant Taylor's School, Northwood.
In the 10K road race, comprising 569 finishers, Allan Stewart finished an excellent fifth in 37.46 and won the prize for first junior. Isabelle Winter was 1st Vet 35 in a time of 42.26.
In the junior races, Chiltern's primary school age girls showed their promise with Claire Buttivant winning the .75 mile Under 10 race in a new course record of 4.56 by a huge margin of over thirty seconds. Also featuring at the top of the field were Rachel Padwick, fifth in 5.43, Georgie Cooper, sixth in 5.52 and Lizzy West, seventh in 5.57.
In the Under 12 girls 1.5 mile race, Robyn Lisle was fifth in 9.28 and Amy Buttivant sixth in 9.35.
