Trailblazers and the walking group have not started from this pub for several years. The routes join the Ridgeway and then go in a SW direction skirting Chinnor and venturing out to the Lower Icknield Way past Aston Blount and Aston Rowant (to be explored in more detail on a future Trailblazers!) before climbing back up Aston Hill, Chinnor Hill and Bledlow Great Wood. Shorter routes avoid some of the climbs but all will enjoy fine views across the Oxford Plain if we are lucky enough to benefit from some summer sunshine.
