Gary Walford and Trevor Brawn took on the tough challenge of the Compton Downland 20 mile trail race on Sunday.
Crossing undulating Berkshire downland terrain in sleet and very strong winds, following written course instructions, Gary came home in an excellent 2 hours 43 minutes, 44 seconds in 16th place and 8th Vet 40. Trevor was 152nd in 3.53.40 and 23rd Vet 50.
