Three of the Chiltern Harriers triathlon group took on the challenge of the Michelob ULTRA London Triathlon and produced excellent performances.
Youngest competitor for the club was 17-year-old Becky Stubbings, racing in the Female Supersprint category. Misbourne School student Becky was 4th coming out of the swim and had steady bike and run legs to improve 45 seconds on last year's time and finish in 50 minutes 5 seconds in 8th place from the 145 starters.
At the other end of the age range, Fred Baxter finished in 4th place in the Mens Olympic 55+ age category in 2 hours 22 minutes 18 seconds, only a couple of minutes adrift of the winner in this group.
Completing the Chiltern trio, David Kidd showed good form in coming 60th out of the 462 starters in the Mens Olympic 35-39 age group in 2 hours, 22 minutes, 55 seconds.
