For the second of this "summer's" 4 league meetings Chiltern Harriers took a slightly depleted team of 20 young athletes to Kingston. The local teams were very strong but the Harriers youngsters finished 4th overall and once again produced some very good individual and relay team performances in good weather conditions.
Star of the show was U15 Joel Williams as he emphatically won both the 'A' string 100m and 200m races with Personal best times of 11.9secs and 24.4secs respectively. He narrowly missed the English Schools qualifying times in both but was rewarded with the Male Track Athlete of the match on the day.
Although the team was depleted and much smaller in number by comparison with the leading three clubs the Harriers youngsters notched up 16 individual wins in 'A' and 'B' string races, plus 3 relay wins out of the 3 they contested.
For the boys the winners included:
| Michael Goddard (U13) | A string 800m |
| Nick Brabbs (U13) | B string 100m |
| Joel Williams (U15) | A string 100m, A string 200m |
| Alex Watson (U15) | A string 800m, A string 400m |
| Zac Underwood (U15) | A string Long Jump, B string 100m, B string 200m |
| Sonny Harvey (U15) | A string 1500m |
| Allan Stewart (U17) | A string 3000m, A string 1500m Steeplechase, |
The U13 boy's 4x100m-relay team (Cameron Holloway, John Underwood, Spencer Evans-Walker and Nick Brabbs) won for the second time in a row with Spencer Evans-Walker running a brilliant 3rd leg to set Nick Brabbs up for a clear victory.
The U15 boy's 4x100m-relay team (Zac Underwood, Alex Watson, Howard Mears and Joel Williams) won their race with Joel Williams pulling back a 5-metre lead on the last leg to cross the line first.
Not to be outdone the U15 Girl's 4x100m-relay team (Shernay Glasgow, Sophie East, Maria Nikodemova and Jessica White) all ran brilliantly to win in style.
