The second Trailblazers for 2007 is set on the Northern side of our local running area. All will experience a rapid warm up over the first mile as we climb up onto the Ridgeway so we can enjoy the views over Aylesbury Vale. The walkers and short running routes return through the scenic Tring Park and thence to the Grand Union Canal on the way back to the pub. The longer running routes descend to the open flat country of the Aylesbury plain, the lakes and the towpaths of the Grand Union Canal with plenty of opportunity for Marathon runners to accumulate training mileage on good off road footpaths. Many will know the Cow Roast from Trevor Davies Summer Canal Runs. It offers a good range of beers and also Thai food, in case in the Queen's Head regulars cannot wait till the next Tuesday!
