These routes cover beautiful open countryside, circle round West Wycombe Hill (but don't include a visit to the Hellfire Club) and then finish through the Bradenham beech woods, giving a mixture of running on easy footpaths and some gently challenging hills to maintain summer fitness levels as an alternative to the Burnham Beeches Half Marathon on the same day! On this occasion the distances are accurately measured, which was not a feature the last time when Sandy gave a somewhat optimistic view of the course that even Rod Palmer found challenging - however I hope Rod and his local colleagues can join us again to give guidance on their home territory!
Drinks afterwards will be at the Red Lion nearby on the main road (A4010). This has offered somewhat variable service in the past and I haven't checked it out recently!
