M40 to Junction 6 (Lewknor - Watlington exit) then follow the B4009 through Watlington and Britwell Salome is 1.5 miles further on the pub being on the left. Part of the run will be known by those who came on the Maidensgrove 'Five Horseshoes' run and will cover about 3.5 miles of the Ridgeway path. It took me only 35 minutes from Amersham to Britwell so it's not as far as it seems!
