Chesham men have had a good run in the Bowls England competitions.
Howard Cave is through to the County quarter final of the singles. David Coles, Mick Skerry and Michael Birch have reached the quarter final of the triples and the same three plus Diet Townend have reached the quarter final of the mens fours.
In the two ladies games played this week Chesham scored a narrow victory over Amersham by one shot, 48 to 47. The highest triple was Babs Williams, Toni Nightingale and Shirley Gardiner. In the match at High Wycombe we lost 22 shots to 27 but had a winning triple Margaret Denham, Coral Sills and Shirley Gardiner, 14 shots to 8.
