Two glorious days of sunshine heralded the start of Chesham Bowling Club's summer season. The first friendly match on Saturday was against Waddesdon B.C. and resulted in a win for the visitors 106 shots to Chesham's 72. Top rink was John Hooper, Brenda Waterman, Molly Young and Tony Holt.
On Sunday we welcomed a team from Bassetsbury Manor B.C. who won, scoring 125 shots to Chesham's 98. Top rink was Eileen Perry, Dennis Tully, Malcolm Warwick and Chris Fillery.
